Wine Review: While on my trip to California this summer, one of our lunches closed with this great dessert wine. It is very pale yellow colored and opens with a very fragrant apricot like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and shows a reasonable level of sweetness. The flavor profile is a delicious blend of tangerine and peach with a hint of apricot. The finish is very refreshing. This dessert wine paired perfectly with our peach cobbler, but also would go nicely with sliced green apples and a mixture of sharp cheeses. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: The 2008 Moscato brings a purity of stone fruit, peach blossoms, and pear to the aroma that is over whelming. On the palate there is a smooth texture, juicy acidity with flavors of peach and pear. It finishes with a hint of floral that goes on and on.

Organic status: not organic
