Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Riesling initially opens with a funky petrol like bouquet that blows off with some time and swirling. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and a little crisp. The flavor profile is a light lime and green apple with notes of infused minerality throughout. The finish is semi dry and nicely refreshing. This wine is very easy to drink and quite food friendly. Pair it with lightly seasoned skewered grilled shrimp. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: A light and minerally Riesling, racy and spritzy with flower and smoky flavours coming from the slate soil. It has an almost electrifying acidity, which asks for the next sip. This Kabinett is very delicate and appealing to drink.

Your comments on this wine:

Clinking Glasses Before Tasting Wine: Originates from medieval times. Milk was often spoiled, water was often polluted. Wine was usually safe. The host would drink the wine first and then clink glasses with guests to show the wine was good and safe for drinking.
