On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, smooth, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a gentle black cherry with hints of mild oak, black raspberry, and truffles. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are sticky and nicely prolonged. The panel suggested pairing this food friendly Syrah with fra diavolo or veal parmigianna.
