Wine Review: This very dark purple Cab won our high end tasting just before Thanksgiving. This terrific wine opens with a fragrant ripe blueberry bouquet with a touch of menthol and tobacco. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, extremely well balanced and silky. The flavor profile is a delicious blend of black raspberry and black cherry with a hint of blueberry, oak and black pepper. This wine is very dry and it enormous tannins go on for several minutes. You could enjoy it fireside on a cold winter’s night or as the panel stated, you could pair it with a filet mignon in 5 to 10 years. It’s a great investment and perfect wine to put in your cellar. However, you need to hurry. Fritz still has some left, but he only made 295 cases. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This Reserve Cabernet displays an inviting inky purple color that leads to pronounced aromas of blueberry, blackberry and violets, underscored by notes of nutmeg and vanilla. Rich and full-bodied, with powerful tannins cloaked in a velvety texture, it reveals sophisticated flavors of blueberry pie, blue flowers and loamy earth that conclude in a long, satisfying finish.
