Wine Review: This white gold colored Rhone-styled blend was well received by the panel and was my favorite wine in the lot. It opens with a mild pineapple and spiced pear bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is a tasty Bartlett pear with nicely infused minerality. We also detected trace hints of ginger and lemon. The finish is dry and if flavors last for quite a while. The panel suggested pairing this very nice wine with grilled trout or Chilean sea bass. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2014 Cotes de Tablas Blanc has a textured, appealing nose that plays between sweeter and more savory aromas: honeycomb and almond skin, jasmine and watermelon rind, peach pit and citrus pith. The palate shows lovely texture, rich but cool, with flavors of pear skin, baked sugar, honeydew and mint. A saline mineral note mingles with fresh peach juice on the lingering finish.
