Wine Review: This Petite Sirah from Terra Valentine was our winner in a recent blind tasting. It is pitch black colored and opens with an inviting wild blueberry pie bouquet with a hint of cigar box. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, silky and smooth. The flavor profile is an extracted boysenberry with notes of blueberry. We also detected hints of integrated minerality, milk chocolate and a touch of oak. The finish is dry and its tannins build up and last for a very long time. The Panel suggested pairing this gem with a ribeye steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
