Wine Review: This pale gold colored Chenin Blanc from South Africa opens with a grilled pineapple and golden raisin bouquet with hints of Meyer lemon and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, balanced, smooth and delicate. The flavor profile is tasty chamomile tea, Meyer lemon and honeydew melon blend with hints of honey, almond and minerality. The finish is dry, refreshing and drifts away nicely. The Panel would enjoy quaffing this good value Chenin Blanc at the beach on a hot day. With food we would pair it with Caribbean shrimp skewers or toasted coconut shrimp. Enjoy – KWGTP
