Wine Review: This inky purple colored Red Blend from Titus opens with blueberry, black raspberry, and wet stone bouquet. With hints of tea, prune, and cocoa. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is very tasty blueberry and stony minerality blend with notes of black tea. We also detected hints of mocha, oak, and black raspberry. The finish is dry, and its well-managed polished tannins are nicely sustained. The Tasting Panel would serve this red blend with a porterhouse steak. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: The 2019 Titus Lot 1 is a robust concentrated wine filled with depth and layers redolent of our favorite past Lot 1's. The aromas are packed with blueberry, blackberry, chocolate, purple flowers and lingering leather and earth notes that give the bouquet a lifted finish. Rich and dark on entry the flavors fill the palate with cassis, dark berry compote, mocha, and cherry cola with a melted down mouthcoating texture. The tannins have a pleasant grip with enough polish to help the wine glide to the finish with notes of lilac, cedar, and radiant warm toast. Enjoy 2025-2035.
