Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Malbec from the Uco Valley is Excellent! It opens with an espresso, blueberry, and violet bouquet with a hint of black cherry. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is rich, balanced, smooth and seamless. The flavor profile is a blueberry and stewed plum blend with notes of stony minerality and black tea. I also detected hints of fig and a touch of black licorice. The finish is dry, and its flavors and moderate tannins linger nicely. The bold styled Malbec benefits nicely from some aeration. It is drinking wonderfully now. I would pair nicely with a New York strip steak in the near term. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: A deep red color with bright ruby hues, this exemplary wine presents intense aromas of red fruits, with smoked and spicy notes, and a touch of graphite. In the mouth it is fruity and mineral, with a persistent finish.
