It opens with a wintergreen and cherry bouquet with a hint of plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, very nicely balanced, and silky smooth. The flavor profile is a very tasty cherry vanilla with notes of nutmeg and spice. The finish is dry and its fine tannins show very nice length. The panel felt this wine would pair well with a nice thick filet mignon. Enjoy - KWGTP Winemaker Notes: Aromas of clove and anise emerge with luscious black cherries and a sensation of cigar box tobacco. Velvety tannins wash over the palate with blackberry and cherry flavors in an everlasting finish. Our 2005 Reserve is a perfect match for flavorful beef, lamb and game spiced with black pepper and thyme. Organic status: not organic Subscribers: Have you tried this wine? Rate it.(Not a subscriber?
