Wine Review: This medium purple colored Zinfandel from Tres Sabores is Excellent! It opens with a black raspberry and blackberry bouquet with hints of cigar box and black tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is blackberry and crushed stone minerality blend with notes of black tea and toasted oak. We also detected hints of black raspberry and loam. The finish is dry and its tannins build-up and are very lengthy. The Tasting Panel would pair this Zin with a marinated hanger steak or with Stuart’s beef wellington. Enjoy – KWGTP
