It is dark cherry colored and opens with a plum and cherry oak bouquet with a hint of black pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, soft, and east going. The flavor profile is a pleasant mild black cherry with hints of gentle raspberry, craisin, and light vanilla oak towards the end. The finish is dry, lingers and lands softly.
