Wine Review: This bright dark red colored Pinot Noir opens with a fragrant cedar and black currant like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a gentle plum with hints of blueberry and black currant. The finish is dry and drifts away nicely. This Pinot is food friendly and very enjoyable to drink. I would pair this Pinot with cherry amaretto chicken. Enjoy - Ken

Clinking Glasses Before Tasting Wine: Originates from medieval times. Milk was often spoiled, water was often polluted. Wine was usually safe. The host would drink the wine first and then clink glasses with guests to show the wine was good and safe for drinking.
