Wine Review: This almost clear colored Organic Sauvignon Blanc from Yorkville is one of the best Sauvignon Blancs that I have covered this year. It opens with a very mild Granny Smith bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, nicely acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mineral infused Granny Smith apple with hints of Anjou pear and lime. The finish is quite dry and its flavors and acidity linger for a while. This very good Sauvignon Blanc would pair perfectly with a grilled swordfish steak drizzled with lemon butter. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: SB is a wonderful wine at this time of year both for its crisp refreshing promise of summer days to come as well as its affinity to summer bounty. It pairs happily with springtime asparagus and artichoke and is delicious with heirloom tomatoes too.
