Wine Review: This bright red cherry colored Rose wine made from Organic Malbec grapes is very good. It opens with a strawberry and Maraschino cherry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy to enjoy. The flavor profile is a mild Maraschino cherry and gentle red plum blend with notes of strawberry. I also picked up some nicely integrated hints of minerality and a touch of red raspberry. The finish is dry and subtle. This Rose goes down easy and is quite quaffable. I would serve it slightly chilled with Norwegian salmon gravlax. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: We chose a name which loosely translates to: "One night stand," the amount of time the skins remained on the juice. We selected the fruit for this wine from the Rennie Vineyard in front of our tasting room where the north face of the vines are grafted to clone FPS 04 which originated in Bordeaux. The color is a brilliant translucent garnet, certainly darker than many roses, and that darker color hints of deeper flavors too. Aromas are of rose petals, strawberry and dried rosemary followed by bold flavors of plum, rhubarb and Earl Grey tea. We enjoyed our first bottle, straight off the bottling line with a tasty spaghetti carbonara. The salty bacon and rich creamy sauce were a perfect match with our Vin D'une Nuit on a warm spring evening.
