Wine Review: An Excellent wine for me is when you yearn for another glass once you finish your first one. This wine did that for me. This opaque and very dark purple colored Syrah opens with an attractive mild blueberry bouquet. On the palate, it is full bodied, very well balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a delicious blueberry with notes of boysenberry. There are also notes of black pepper and blackberry mixed in. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are very friendly and drift away nicely. The Syrah shows nice finesse. It would pair perfectly with a filet mignon over the next couple of years. There is not much of this gem, so you better secure a bottle soon. Cheers – Ken

Winemaker Notes: This wine displays rich blackberry, cassis, mocha, cedar and our signature sage spice aromas and flavors. The finish lingers from the ripe tannins and smoky oak. This full-bodied wine should be enjoyed over the next ten years. - Clay Brock, Winemaker
