Wine Review: This goldenrod colored Riesling dessert wine from Australia is a very good value. It opens with a honey and Grand Marnier like bouquet with a hint of apricot. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and viscous. The flavor profile is an apricot and orange blend with notes of honey and walnut. The finish is sweet and fades away nicely. This dessert Riesling is a sipper. I would enjoy it on its own after a nice meal at your favorite restaurant. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Almost a 50/50 blend of McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills Riesling, this wine is clean, concentrated and refreshing. The nose is lifted with an abundance of honey and citrus notes and the palate is full of lemon pie, honey dew and quince paste flavors. The acidity is tight but forgiving, resulting in a beautifully balanced wine with a long finish.
