Wine Review: This richly yellow colored wine opens with a little light green apple and pear like bouquet. On the palate, this medium to full bodied wine is round, creamy, rich, and has apricot like flavors with some green apple influences. The finish is dry and touch acidic. This wine would nicely enhance a swordfish dish and complement homemade macaroni and cheese with ham as well. Enjoy - Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our 2006 Russian River Chardonnay exhibits wonderful brightness, clarity and light weight on the palate. The crispness and minerality of the wine makes it a lovely food companion but you will find it to be quite enjoyable on its own. Superb peach and melon aromas with refreshing citrus flavors are accented with hints of toasted nuts and a subtle, rich texture from the sur lies aging.

Organic status: not organic

Your comments on this wine:

Clinking Glasses Before Tasting Wine: Originates from medieval times. Milk was often spoiled, water was often polluted. Wine was usually safe. The host would drink the wine first and then clink glasses with guests to show the wine was good and safe for drinking.
