Wine Review: Wow! This bright yellow colored Chardonnay from Castello di Amorosa is Excellent! It opens with fragrant apple bouquet with hints of light lemon and faint oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and super smooth. The flavor profile is a delicious apple and pear blend with hints of nicely integrated oak. I also detected a hint of lemon. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This terrific Chardonnay is very food friendly and it won't last long. I would pair it with lobster with drawn butter. Enjoy - Ken
