Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Flanagan opens with a pear and fresh mint bouquet with hints of jasmine and sandalwood. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, and delicate. The flavor profile is a very tasty gentle oak and Bartlett pear blend with notes of mild pineapple and buttered bread. We also detected a hint of butterscotch. The finish is dry and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel would pair this Chard with seafood casserole or a lobster roll. Enjoy – KWGTP
