Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from MacRostie opens with an apricot and pineapple bouquet with hints of oak and pink grapefruit. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright, juicy, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a pineapple and poached pear blend with notes of lemon and green apple. I also detected hints of mango and a touch of cantaloupe. The fruit flavors drift away nicely on the finish. I would pair this Chard with a grilled mahi-mahi taco with a pineapple salsa. Enjoy – Ken
