Wine Review: This golden yellow colored Chardonnay from Pellet Estate opens with a honeydew melon, gentle oak, and baked Bartlett pear bouquet with hints of vanilla custard and lemon. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth, seamless, rich, and elegant. The flavor profile is a delicious white peach and Anjou pear blend with notes of gentle oak and almond. We also detected some hints of hints of mango, lemon, and coconut. The finish is dry, and its flavors are nicely extended before drifting away. The Tasting Panel would pair this Chard with coquilles St Jacques. Enjoy - KWGTP
