Wine Review: This pale straw-colored Chardonnay from Riley’s Rows was well received by the Tasting Panel. It opens with an oak and creamed corn bouquet with notes of pear and Meyer lemon butter. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with plus acidity. The flavor profile is a mineral and butter blend with notes of vanilla, oak, green apple and pear. We also detected some hints of lemon and honey in the background. The finish is dry and its flavors linger nicely. The Panel suggested pairing this Chard with a fisherman’s platter or steamed clams with drawn butter. Enjoy - KWGTP
