It opens with an interesting and inviting Bazooka bubble gum bouquet with a hint of apple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, smooth, and easy to drink. The flavor profile is a mild vanilla oak influenced apple with notes of cinnamon spice, melted butter, and pear. The finish is dry and its flavors linger for quite a while. The panel suggested pairing this very good Chard with rich lobster bisque, oysters Rockefeller, and chicken cordon bleu.
