Wine Review: This elevated and energetic Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards in Napa Valley is a pale straw color with aromas of ruby grapefruit, lemon, jasmine, and light fresh green herbs. On the palate, there is a silky mouthfeel, nice balance, a light body, and integrated plus acidity. I found it to be pure and focused. There are flavors of ruby grapefruit, lime zest, honeydew melon, and chalky minerality with notes of lemongrass and Bosc pear. The finish is bright and long lasting. Winemaker Notes: This light-to-medium bodied wine displays vibrant aromas of white floral/lemon blossom, lemon verbena, honeydew melon, pink grapefruit, passionfruit, pink guava, lime skin and lemongrass. On the palate, it is sweet and crisp, with flavors of pink grapefruit, guava, lemon blossom, bartlett pear, and lemon grass.
