Wine Review: This clear and dark red colored Pinot Noir from Domaine de la Riviere opens with a black tea and mild black plum bouquet with hints of cola and faint cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, and slightly viscous. The flavor profile is spiced black plum and raspberry tea blend with notes of cola and stony minerality. We also detected hints of black cherry. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and fine tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Pinot with Korean Beef Bulgogi with fried rice. Enjoy - KWGTP
