Wine Review: This clear and pale white gold colored Riesling from Fritz Haag opens with a lemon-lime and mild petrol bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round and very fresh. The flavor profile is an Anjou pear and lemon tea blend with notes of pineapple and ginger. We also detected hints of orange zest, faint papaya, and honey. The finish is off-dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this Riesling with pork schnitzel, oysters, or a honey-lime pulled pork. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: A fruity sweet Kabinett is a wine that probably best reflects the strengths of the Moselle - lightness, spice, a charming residual sweetness, balance, and clear fruit. In addition, it shows where it comes from through its fine, smoky nose. Flint, floral notes, and a juicy exoticism on the palate are excellently rounded off by the fresh acidity. As with all our traditional fruity sweet wines, we only work in stainless steel tanks to maintain the clarity and straightforwardness of these wines.
