Wine Review: This clear and medium garnet colored Pinot Noir from Amici opens with a red beet and violet bouquet with hints of light cedar, mocha, and tobacco leaf. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, very smooth, and lush. The flavor profile is a dried strawberry and spicy lingonberry blend with notes of root beer and black pepper. We also detected hints of stony minerality, mocha, tobacco, and oak.
