Wine Review: This deep purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega opens with a licorice, blackberry, and wet stone bouquet with hints of dark chocolate, cola, and wet clay. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, concentrated, and lush. The flavor profile is a blackberry and oak blend with notes of black tea and graphite. We also detected hints of black olive, cassis, black licorice, and black pepper. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and well-managed moderate dusty tannins linger and last for quite some time. This wine benefits from a little decanting. We would pair this Cab with a New York strip steak. Enjoy - KWGTP
