Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Syrah from Kale opens with a blueberry and acai bouquet with hints of saddle leather, black cherry, and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, very fresh, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is an acai berry and cedar blend with notes of blueberry and stony minerality. We also detected hints of black licorice, black cherry, and cedar. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate tingly tannins linger and last for quite some time. We would pair this Syrah with grilled hanger steak or a Sunday pot roast. Enjoy - KWGTP
