Wine Review: This hazy and dark red colored Pinot Noir from Clarice opens with a black plum and pencil shavings bouquet with hints of mulberry and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and seamless. The flavor profile is a boysenberry and sage blend with notes of stony minerality and tobacco. We also detected hints of black plum, oak, and crushed dried rosemary. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and medium tannins linger and then gradually fade away. We would pair this Pinot with pork tenderloin with a rosemary, sage, and plum sauce. Enjoy – Ken & Dave
