Wine Review: This dark red colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Bezel opens with a pomegranate and boysenberry bouquet with hints of cranberry, bay leaf, and leather. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, bright, and fresh. The flavor profile is tobacco and craisin blend with notes of black tea and pomegranate. I also detected hints of cedar, stone dust, and boysenberry. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and dusty tannins linger and last for quite some time. I would pair this Cabernet Sauvignon with cranberry and mushroom chicken. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Aromas of blackberry, dried herbs and a hint of minerality lead to a plush flavors of ripe black and red fruits, and dark chocolate on the palate.
