Wine Review: This almost clear colored Arneis from Ceretto has lots of stationary tiny bubbles in the glass after pouring it. It opens with a white grapefruit and white peach bouquet with hints of tonic water and lime zest. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bold, fresh, lively, and zesty. The flavor profile is a saline, Anjou pear, and lime zest blend with notes of chalky minerality and white pepper. I also detected hints of lemon and almond. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for a while. I would enjoy this mouthwatering Arneis slightly chilled on a hot summer day. With food try it with your favorite scallop recipe. Enjoy - Ken
