Wine Review: This clear and brilliant light straw-colored Chardonnay from Peter Zemmer opens with a Bosc pear and white peach bouquet with hints of pineapple (lemon, caramel apple, honeysuckle On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is bright, fresh, slightly viscous, and lively. The flavor profile is a dried herbs, lemon, and green tea blend with notes of saline and pineapple. We also detected hints of minerality. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely after the wine is gone. We would pair this Chard with a Ritz Cracker encrusted baked cod or chicken lo mein. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Color: Greenish yellow.
Bouquet: Characteristic, fruity of ripe banana and pineapple.
Flavor: Fresh, juicy, mineral, with a pleasant fullness and long-lasting persistence.
Recommended pairings: Very versatile, excellent with first courses, from vegetable minestrone to spaghetti with clams, and exceptional with fish dishes.
