Wine Review: This clear and dark red colored Pinot Noir from Gros Ventre opens with an attractive strawberry and lingonberry bouquet with hints of cranberry and green tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, smooth, seamless, and very approachable. The flavor profile is a juicy spiced red plum and lingonberry blend with notes of red licorice and stone dust. I also detected hints of maraschino cherry. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity and ultra fine tannins drift away. I would pair this Pinot Noir with beef carpaccio. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The cooler 2023 vintage brought energy and focus, giving this wine tension, brightness, and aging potential. It's expressive now but it will be rewarded with time in the cellar. It offers notes of Bing cherry, strawberry preserve, rose petal, orange peel, and sweet baking spice,
