Wine Review: This clear and dark red colored Pinot Noir from Domaine de la Riviere opens with a very inviting and fragrant black plum and cinnamon bouquet with hints of boysenberry pie, lavender, and wet stone. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and fresh. The flavor profile is a juicy red plum and stone dust blend with notes of raspberry tea and loam. We also detected hints of boysenberry and tobacco. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and fine tannins fade away nicely. We would pair this Pinot with pan seared heritage pork chops. Enjoy - KWGTP
