Wine Review: This clear and gold colored Chardonnay from Domaine Anderson opens with a mild pineapple and mild floral bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and fresh. The flavor profile is a gentle stony minerality and grilled pineapple blend with notes of green apple and lemon verbena. I also detected hints of white pepper, Christmas spice, and mild oak. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity are nicely extended. I would pair this very good Chard with a corn and bacon chowder. Enjoy - Ken
