Wine Review: This coral-colored Brut Rose from Schramsberg opens with tiny streaming bubbles. The bouquet features wet stone and strawberry with hints of maraschino cherry and melon. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is slightly creamy, clean, and fresh. The flavor profile is a tasty strawberry and red raspberry blend with notes of chalky minerality and saline. We also detected hints of green tea and lingonberry. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity drift away nicely. We would pair this Brut Rose with fresh sliced Norwegian salmon with dill and cream cheese on a thin sliced French baguette or at brunch with bagels and lox. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: Our 2021 Brut Rosé welcomes a bouquet of ripe raspberry, strawberry, watermelon, and white peach, intermingled with hints of lemon-lime, orange zest, and ginger. The palate presents bright berry and citrus. A tart acidity carries the flavors to a juicy center and refreshing finish, while supporting a crisp, clean polish the entire way.
