Wine Review: This clear and light ruby colored Pinot Noir from Kosta Browne opens with a loam and red raspberry bouquet with hints of violets, cedar plank, and cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, smooth, bright, and fresh. The flavor profile is a complex blend of raspberry and stony minerality with notes of cinnamon and spiced black plum. We also detected hints of dried strawberry, black olive, sage, and cedar. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and medium tannins are nicely extended. We would pair this Pinot with a dry-rubbed pork roast. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: This wine brings together vineyards spanning the appellation, from the rugged coastline to the sheltered inland slopes. Floral and cedar notes weave through layers of wild blueberry and crushed red plum, with a subtle hint of eucalyptus. The palate unfolds with black currant and raspberry, framed by refined structure, while hints of black tea and cinnamon add depth to a graceful, lingering finish. Aged for 16 months in a mix of French oak and foudre, followed by time in stainless steel, this Pinot Noir captures the essence of the Sonoma Coast with poise and vibrancy
