Wine Review: This clear and bright red colored Zweigelt from Galen Glen could be served slightly chilled and would be a very nice summer red option. It opens with a Bazooka bubble gum and vanilla bouquet with hints of strawberry and talc. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and round. The flavor profile is a RC cola and vanilla blend with notes of cherry. We also detected hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate dusty tannins stick around. We would pair this Zweigelt with pulled pork sliders or grilled shrimp tacos. Enjoy - KWGPT
