Wine Review: This clear and very red colored Cabernet Franc from Galen Glen in the Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania opens with a light cherry and earthy bouquet with hints caramel. On the palate, it is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and fresh. The flavor profile is a mochaccino and blackberry blend with notes of black plum and toasted oak. We also detected hints of dried herbs and a dash of black pepper. The finish is dry and its flavors, acidity, and gentle tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this mid- week wine with burgers off the grill. Enjoy Ken & Mark
