Wine Review: This clear and medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Drouhin Oregon opens with a cherry and faint strawberry licorice bouquet with hints of cranberry, topsoil, and violets. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, super smooth and delicate. The flavor profile is a tasty red cherry and light cinnamon tea blend with notes of faint tobacco and strawberry. We also detected hints of graphite, vanilla, and crispy bacon at the very end. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and well-managed fine tannins drift away nicely. We would drink this Pinot on its own. With food we would pair it with crispy roasted Cornish game hen. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2024 Roserock Pinot Noir captures the purity and tension of our Eola–Amity Hills estate. Aromas of black cherry, violet, and raspberry rise from the glass, layered with notes of dried herbs, coffee, and stony earth. On the palate, it’s vibrant and poised, with bright acidity carrying flavors of strawberry, plum, and subtle spice. The texture is fine and supple, unfolding toward a long, graceful finish that conveys the youth and promise of this wine.
