Wine Review: This translucent and pale hay colored Sauvignon Blanc from Dry Creek Vineyard opens with a gooseberry and white grapefruit bouquet with hints of passionfruit, ash, and a touch of yellow bell pepper. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, fresh, vibrant, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is a mild grapefruit and lime blend with notes of ginger and peas. I also detected hints of celery, saline, and white pepper in the aftertaste. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely before drifting away. I would quaff this easy to drink Sauvignon Blanc at the beach this summer.
