Wine Review: This translucent and ruby colored Zinfandel from Robert Biale opens with a mild blackberry and new leather bouquet with hints of black plum and black tea. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, slightly viscous, and lush. The flavor profile is a tasty gentle blackberry tea and tobacco blend with notes of stone dust and cedar. We also detected hints of cocoa powder, black plum, and black cherry. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and fine gentle tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this Zin with a grilled venison steak or with braised short ribs. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This wine is sourced from Green & Red's Tip Top Vineyard. It opens with vibrant notes of raspberry, cherry, crushed peppercorns, and chaparral on the nose. Broad across the palate with notes of bramble, strawberry preserves, lavender, and cedar all driven by balanced acidity and framed by moderate tannins.
