Wine Review: This hazy and deep garnet colored Cabernet Sauvignon from William Cole opens with a black currant and black licorice bouquet with hints of leather, huckleberry, and a touch of raisin. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, and seamless. The flavor profile is a red cherry and cedar blend with notes of menthol and cashew. We also detected hints of graphite, cinnamon, peppermint, and sage. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its tannins are nicely resolved. We would drink this properly aged Cab in the near term. With food, I would pair this wine with a Stuart's steak treats. Enjoy - KWGTP
