Wine Review: This clear and ruby red colored Cabernet Franc based blend from Virginia opens with a cinnamon stick and cedar bouquet with hints of black cherry, leather, and chocolate. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, and seamless. The flavor profile is a gentle plum and stony minerality blend with notes of mild tobacco and dried strawberry. We also detected hints of saline and red raspberry tea. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and moderate dusty tannins drift away nicely. We would pair this very good Virginia red blend with a grilled bison burger with red beans and rice. Enjoy - KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: A medium bodied red blend with suede-like tannins that is characterized by notes of cherry, strawberry jam, black raspberry, and plum.
