Wine Review: This clear and white gold colored Pinot Grigio from J. Dusi opens with a green apple and mild yellow grapefruit bouquet with hints of lemon verbena. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and zesty. The flavor profile is a slightly tart yellow grapefruit and lemon verbena blend with notes of Anjou pear and white pepper. I also detected hints of green tea, stony minerality. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger and last for quite some time. I would pair this Pinot Grigio with oysters on the half shell. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Appearance: Pale gold with a fine, persistent mousse.
Aroma: Fresh green apple, pear, and citrus leap from the glass, followed by white blossoms and a delicate hint of brioche. Secondary notes of almond and a faint minerality add sophistication.
Palate: Offering flavors of lemon zest, pear and a touch of apricot.
Pairing: Oysters on the half shell, triple cream cheese, or smoked salmon canapés.
