Wine Review: This Corvina based red blend from Verona, Italy is a true kitchen sink blend. It is a brilliant medium ruby red color, with aromas of red cherry, leather, mocha, fresh thyme, and earthy notes. It's juicy and rustic on the palate. It displays a medium body with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, energetic, and approachable. There are flavors of red plum, red cherry, fresh cracked black pepper, oak, and some minerality with a dried herbs note and a hint of saline. Some round tannins persist in the dry long finish. Give this wine 15 minutes of air to open up and serve with pasta Bolognese. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: Young wine of medium alcohol, should be drunk within one or two years in order to fully appreciate its fragrance and its vibrancy. It is brilliant ruby red with fresh scents of cherry. Pair with starters or pasta.
