Wine Review: This hazy and deep ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Alpha Omega opens with a black currant and graphite bouquet with hints of mild pomegranate, fennel, and cinnamon. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round, and fresh. The flavor profile is a cedar influenced black plum and graphite blend with notes of red raspberry tea and loam. We also detected hints of pomegranate and black cherry. The finish is dry, and its flavors, acidity, and its grippy tannins stick around for a while. This wine benefits a lot from some decanting. We would pair this Cab with a pistachio encrusted duck breast. Enjoy - KWGTP
