Wine Review: This clear and medium straw-colored Chenin Blanc from V. Sattui opens with an almond and Anjou pear bouquet with hints of green tea. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, round, and seamless. The flavor profile is a green tea and Anjou pear blend with notes of stone dust and almond. I also detected hints of white pepper and lemon verbena. The finish is dry, and its flavors and acidity linger nicely. I would pair this versatile and easy to drink Chenin with your favorite grilled fish taco recipes. It is also Theresa approved and recommended as a beach or pool wine. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Our Chenin Blanc shines with a bright straw hue in the glass. Aromas of apricot and lemongrass lift from the nose, layered with floral geranium and a hint of wet stone. On the palate, fresh pear leads into a vibrant, juicy finish, carried by beautifully balanced acidity. Lively, refreshing, and full of energy. Its natural lift and lively acidity make it incredibly versatile with food. Pair it with fresh seafood like grilled halibut, seasonal salads with citrus vinaigrette, or soft cheeses.
